Who am I?

Dear Reader,

my name is Julia and I am writing this blog on activism for human rights and sustainability. Currently, I am living in Frankfurt (Main) in Germany where I am working in the legal field.

What is the purpose of this blog? I want to encourage people to be engaged, to speak up against injustice, to protest, to create and to stand up for a just and peaceful world in line with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. We are living in a world whose resources we exploited, a world where peace and stability became variables. Nature is treated as an object of no value which degenerates. Can this be the only way of life humankind is capable of?

In my opinion, no. Many people are engaged in creating a sustainable and peaceful future, and Humanitytrail highlights those individuals, ideas and initiatives. So far, I conducted interviews with activists for human rights and artists. Art plays an important role in the realisation of human rights as it shows us how society could evolve.

The articles are divided in three submenus: Inspiring people, Sustainable Development Goals, and Migration and Human Rights. I will also keep you informed about upcoming events in the sphere of sustainability and human rights.

Sustainability matters, ideas matter, you matter! Together, we can change the world.

Sincerely yours,

Julia
